Today was just pure fun. My boyfriend, my brother & I went down to Nathan Phillips Square to go skating with my best friend and her significant other. We had a blast freezing our toes together, dancing to the music and skating out on the beautiful rink at night with all the Christmas lights still up. It reminded me of when I was young and I used to take skating lessons ♥ It was the perfect way to A) spend time with my brother, B) spend my year and a half anniversary with my boyfriend, and C) spend a late Christmas get-together with my loved ones ♥ Then, after fun, rowdiness, and hilarious pictures, we ran over to the Timmies next door to have some warm hot chocolate and get stumped by the "fake-locked" bathroom door. After we all were warm, we took the subway back to my best friend's place and watched movies, ate pizza, wings & cake and watched one of the movies from the Film Festival this year. Afterward, the boys squealed to NHL 2K10 on the Wii and my best friend and I settled down in the bedroom to talk about life (you know how we girls do). It was nice. I left feeling good about my life, and feeling lucky once more. My life is so perfect as it is. *pinches self*
