It Never Entered My Mind - Miles Davis

After working a 12-6 shift today, I came home today restless. I found myself tired, yet so uptight from work that I was all over the place. The problem was I had nowhere to go and no one to talk to for that matter. My family had gone out, my boyfriend was busy, I didn't want to travel to anyone's house, and my bestfriend who lives a few streets down was at her boyfriend's place. I ended up feeling frustrated.

So what did I end up doing? Folding. For some odd reason, folding clothes makes me feel calm. Have you ever found that small, habitual things tend to calm you down? Well, folding clothes seems to be that "habitual thing" for me. I slipped in one of the discs from the Sex & The City seasons and watched while folding. I find it odd that when I have absolutely nothing to do, I always find something. I need something. It's either I make a list of things to do or I go in search for it. I'm une naturelle busybody. Even one of the guys at work keeps advising me to "Slow It Down".

The newly washed fabric smell and folding clothes gives me a calm sensation. I wonder why.

P.S. - I love black and white photos.

Miles Davis. Great song. This particular one reminds me of RUNAWAY BRIDE every time.
