DAY 7: What is your totem?

TOTEM: An object constructed by someone who plans to invade a dream, whose exact weight and composition only they know. This object can be used to help verify whether you're in the real world, or the dream world. Cobb uses a top which, when spun inside a dream never stops spinning.

A: I'd make a round heart...probably made out of silver, or plated in silver and made out of some other material so the person doesn't actually know the weight. I'd put inside it a tiny half-purple, half-blue marble. I know that people choose to put stuff they already have for the answer to this question, but people know what I have. People have seen and held anything I could think of that could possibly be my totem. I would choose to make a locket that doesn't seem like a locket: A small, round, silver heart that has the width of a thick rock. I would make it so it would be impossible to open unless you melt it. It would have a tiny hole in the middle of it enclosing a tiny marble: half-blue for IJ, half-purple for my family. My heart lies with them and that would truly be my totem.



Thicker than this. No design or chain and no signs of it holding anything inside it like the lines that this picture shows on the side. Just a heart.
