Wonder if he knows he's on my radar (on my radar), on my radar.
THE STORY: This little Johnny has been on my radar (literally) for almost a month now. Every single time I waited after work for my parents to pick me up, I'd drop by Blockbuster to look at this little Mad Hatter plushie from Alice in Wonderland. He was about $15 or something w/ taxes when I first saw him. I kept visiting him because he was too expensive for his size, as much as I loved him. So, as I continued to drop by, he would be there with the Pocketwatch Rabbit and the Cheshire Cat. As days went by though, they all started to disappear, and one day I came by and he was gone =( I wanted him SO, SO, BADLY! The reason? I saw this drawing that a girl drew online of Johnny Depp dolls on a shelf. I loved it so much that as an art project, my best friend drew the whole drawing out TO SCALE! She's such an amazing artist - smajoyful - and I love her for that because I now I have my very own Johnny Doll Drawing. So...the reason why I wanted this plushie was because he looked EXACTLY like the dolls in the drawing! AND ON TOP OF THAT, the drawing does NOT have the Mad Hatter from Alice in Wonderland because it was a new movie by the time this girl finished drawing and posting the picture.
THEN TODAY, while looking around with my best friend Ashlee at Blockbuster, (it was fate, I swear), we saw that my little Johnny Doll went on SALE! He was stuck in the clearance bin with all the other plushies, for 50% OFF!!!! 50% OFF MY LITTLE JOHNNY!!!!! I grabbed him and bought him instantly for only $5.60-ish. And here he is! =D BAHHHH, so happy ♥ The Johnny I didn't have. ♥
